Adobe Associates' Solage Project Earns ACEC Engineering Excellence Award

The North Coast Chapter ACEC-California held its first Annual Engineering Excellence Awards on September 14, 2011. Adobe Associates was pleased to be presented with the 2011 Project of the Year Award "Private Owner" for the Solage Calistoga Resort and Spa project for client Calistoga Palisades Resort LP due to the tremendous amount of benefits the project provided to the local community.
Solage Calistoga is a 26-acre premium resort and spa positioned near vineyard properties along the Silverado Trail in northeastern Calistoga. Adobe Associates provided civil engineering and survey consulting services for the entire project beginning in 2002 and through 2009.
A significant amount of public utility infrastructure and produced secondary benefits of value to the entire community. Twenty-eight units of affordable housing were built and flood control improvements were made. Solage Resort embodied numerous social and economic benefits many through the civil design process. Public safety, mainly fire protection, was improved with the construction of a mile of 12-inch water main.
