Survey Position Open

Survey Party Chief - Immediate opening
We have an immediate opening for a Survey Party Chief experienced in both office and field work. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, the Survey Party Chief will plan, organize, and participate in the work of a survey crew performing a wide variety of construction and preliminary design surveys to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications and have experience in producing computations and drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop for the preparation of boundary, topographic and ALTA/ACSM surveys, and construction stakeout, as well as experience with research of County records. Survey Party Chief will be responsible for daily crew operations including calculations, staking, client contact and conduct boundary surveys, topographical surveys, construction staking, and GPS surveys. Candidates technical experience should include the following: preparation /processing tentative and final subdivision plats, preparation /processing of regulatory site plans and development plans for commercial developments, and preparation/processing of final engineering plans (grading, streets, sewer/water, etc.).

This position requires five years of progressively responsible technical surveying experience with at least two years of which must have been in a position comparable to that of a survey crew chief. Must possess a valid Class C California Driver's License.

Engineering Positions Open

Project Manager
Candidates for this position must demonstrate independent thought and decision-making abilities, possess management and supervisory skills, and be adept at establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients and public agency personnel as well as with in-house professional peers.

Candidates must have at least ten 10 years prior experience supervising engineering designers and draftsmen (including daily assignments of work, review of work, and quality control), knowledge of land development design, hydrology, reservoir design and grading, management of multi-million dollar project schedules and budgets, preparing contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work, and significant experience in client and public-agency interactions.

Technical experience must include incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment and consideration of site constraints, potential regulatory issues, and the preparation and review of attendant hydrologic studies and drainage reports. This position requires extensive experience in Land Development Desktop (“LDD”), P3, Delta and Microsoft software and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of land development projects and in interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies and firm staff.

Design Engineer (Sewage Disposal) - Two Immediate Openings!
This position will assist project managers in all aspects of design for private sewage disposal systems including: design, plan preparation, agency processing, construction review, site reviews and exploration, percolation testing, report generation, assisting with proposals, invoicing, and coordinate and maintain relationships with clients and public agencies. In addition, this position oversees and mentors our design staff.

Candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of land development experience or the equivalent of ten (10) years of total work experience.

CADD Technician
