FAIRFIELD FIRE STATIONS NO. 1 AND 3
Completion Date: Spring 2003
Owner: Fairfield Fire Department
Architect: RMW Architecture & Design
Landscape: Zucco Fagent Associates

Fire Station No. 1 is located between Kentucky Street and Civic Center Drive. The building is 21,000 square feet with functionally separate wings to house the administration, apparatus, and fire fighter areas of the building. Fire Station No. 3 is located on North Texas Street, just south of the Putah South Canal, within the Dickson Hill Water Treatment Plant property. The one story substation is 10,088 square feet with a drive through apparatus bay. The exterior design and appearance of the stations will not cause the nature of the neighborhood to economically, visually, or physically decline. They have been designed with attractive facade consistent with the high quality of other buildings in the area. By having the stations strategically located throughout the City they hope to efficiently and effectively maintain the highest levels of fire and life safety services for the community.
