Scott Hoffman
P.E.
Project Manager
Civil Engineering Department,
Professional Engineer
Scott joined Adobe Associates, Inc. as a Project Manager in March 2025, and although he is newer to the team, he has quickly stepped into a leadership and role model position in the office. Adapting his extensive background to Northern California, Scott has mastered Sonoma County regulations, permitting nuances, and regional stormwater requirements, quickly establishing himself as a key technical resource for the firm.
A graduate of San Jose State University, Scott earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2014, with an emphasis on hydrology and hydraulics. He is a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California (RCE 94938) and was actively involved in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Young Leaders’ Group from 2020 to 2025.
Before coming to Adobe, Scott spent seven years at Kimley-Horn and Associates in San Diego as a Civil Analyst, Design Engineer, and Project Manager from 2018 to 2025. There, he worked on large multi-family projects, complex podium buildings, and served as the developer’s representative and manager for the 7-Eleven West Coast construction team. He brings deep expertise in hydrology and hydraulics, LID BMP implementation, grading, utility layout, subconsultant coordination, and construction administration, paired with a genuine passion for development.
Growing up locally in Sebastopol, CA—with family ties still in Petaluma—Scott is especially eager to help shape his home county for the better. In his own words, “Sonoma County is a much better place than San Diego.”
In his free time, you will likely find Scott playing beach volleyball at Ragle, golfing at a local course, or playing guitar at an open mic night.
