We’re trying to get accurate topo for all monuments within our limits of work. Typically, we ask surveyors to pick up and record all relevant information as inventory. This should include spot elevations for trees, buildings and dwellings including the thresholds at all points of egress (doors). Ideally, this may also include any septic infrastructure (including tanks, lines, and limits of leach fields), utility infrastructure, area drains, overhead wires, power poles, etc.
We’ve found that any survey coming in from Adobe is the “cat’s meow”!
